Members of the team, Jenny Bradford and Siobhan Southam, spent the day The Christie as part of the International Clinical Trials Day activities. Together with members of the research team we talked with patients and staff about the work that we are doing in clinical trials. Modern day research is being changed by technology. We want to make sure that patients, research staff and medical teams are part of that change.  Early clinical trials are where future cancer medicines. Our aim is for patients, carers and families to work in partnership with researchers on clinical trials and new technologies.

Patients are co-researchers with us and we have a Patient Design Lab in the clinical research facility at The Christie so that we can talk with patients, share ideas and develop science and research directly with patients and clinical teams.
